Who's Behind Sci-Fi-Stuff Anyways?
My deep love for all things science fiction was obvious all throughout my formative years. While other little kids wanted to be fire fighters or police officers, I wanted to be either a Stormtrooper or, when I was feeling particularly ambitious, a Starfleet captain. Raised on Star Trek, Star Wars, old reruns of Lost of Space, and really old VHS tapes of the original Doctor Who, I was in my glory when whole new series were introduced and old favorites continued to churn out new installments. Serenity, Firefly, The Matrix, Doctor Who, and a host of others fueled my imagination like nothing else has before or since.
As an adult, I still make an annual pilgrimage to the Star Tours attraction in Disney's Hollywood Studios, my kids are outside playing a game of their own invention called 'The Borg Versus The Cylons', and the walls of my man-cave are decorated with a Bat'leth, a light saber, and a montage of film posters. I have shelves full of paperbacks, DVDs, and even some action figures my mother didn't manage to throw out.
I started this site because I wanted to bring quality sci-fi wares to the world. I was tired of receiving notifications that my item was out of stock, getting knock-off merchandise, or opening the outer box only to discover that the item had obviously been on a shelf in a two-pack-a-day-smoker's house for the past 10 years. I was equally fed up with trying to translate foreign emails, getting pelted with spam, or fighting erroneous charges to my credit card or PayPal account. Who has time for all that?
After beginning a more general t-shirt store online in 2010, I decided to use the knowledge and experience I've gained to launch a site dedicated to my biggest passion: sci-fi. Here, I've collected some of the best authentic merchandise for all of the series and films I grew up with and those that I love as an adult.
I encourage feedback, comparison pricing, and constructive criticism from my clients. Send us pictures of you enjoying your merchandise, or let me know how to make the site more accessible to you. From one sci-fi loving nerd to another, this is the site for all your sci-fi stuff.
